Search Engine Optimization is all about patience. SEO takes a consistent approach, steady changes, and plenty of research. I really started getting into SEO about 2 years ago, and have had very good success. The search engine algorithms seem to be always changing and their critera on what is "good" changes as well.
Believe me when i say that someone who says that they can get you into the top 10 of all 3 major search engines in less than a week, and keep you there is a scam. Well, i guess they could with "blackhat" techniques, but when you star slipping or even when you get "blacklisted", and your hard earned cash is not showing up in the search engines anymore...youll learn.

I have managed PPC campaigns for Yahoo, Google, MSN, and a few others. Like SEO this takes patience, consistent watching, and bidding. The problem with PPC, is that who ever has the most money wins. Sure you can compete, but once the bids start to get our of yoru range its tough to keep up.
Like PPC your content is king. Its all about your landing pages and being able to capture that lead. Sure you can get hundreds of clicks, but what is the ROI on those clicks?
