About Me

19 06 2008

Web design… goodness gracious.  How did i get myself into this mess.   Well, it actually started with a discussion as to what im going to do with myself after i got out of the Navy.  So i went down to Heald College in CA, which is a technical trade school and i signed up.  Took my first 18 month course which encompassed all facets of technology from power supplys to networking.

I was working full time from 8-5 and then going to school from 6-10, so you can imagine how hectic my life was at that time.  Graduated, got my AAS in Computer Technology and started digging HTML.  From there i took another course in Web Design and Administration, and received my AAS in Web Design.  I also got my CIW Master Designer Certification.  If you dont know what that is, just Google CIW.

Then i decided to take a Microsoft course for networking, and got my AAS in Networking Technology with an emphasis in Windows 2000, also went out and got my MCSA in Windows 2000, but networking is not my gig.

From there it all kind of snowballed.  I started hooking up people with simple web sites, learning the basics of HTML and Javascript.

Now here i am with my own LLC, Independent Contractor, working my own hours.

It has been an adventurous ride so far, lets see where it goes from here.
